Broadcast Rules

MCRBee Radio operates a watershed period between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM (UK Time). During this period, DJs and Presenters may broadcast content intended for adult audiences, provided it remains lawful and does not breach station rules.

Before 10:00 PM (Family-Friendly)

The station operates as a family-friendly service. Presenters must not broadcast:

• Excessive swearing
• Explicit sexual content
• Graphic violence
• Offensive discriminatory language
• Adult-themed discussions unsuitable for younger listeners

Between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM (Adult-Oriented)

Adult-oriented programming is permitted. This may include:

• Club and dance music sessions
• House, Trance, Drum & Bass, Garage and Urban music
• Explicit versions of songs
• Mature discussion topics
• DJ takeover shows
• Live event broadcasts
• Adult audience entertainment

Presenter Responsibilities

Presenters broadcasting during watershed hours must:

• Clearly identify the show as intended for adult audiences where appropriate.
• Exercise reasonable judgement when selecting content.
• Ensure discussions remain respectful.
• Avoid content that may seriously damage the reputation of MCRBee Radio.

Station Management Rights

MCRBee Radio reserves the right to:

• Review any broadcast content.
• Request changes to future broadcasts.
• Remove content that breaches station policies.
• Suspend presenters who repeatedly disregard station standards.

The existence of the watershed does not remove a presenter's responsibility to broadcast responsibly and lawfully.
